SALARY: £32000 Annually

LOCATION: Greenwich

 

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

You will report to the Head of Youth Programme and key stakeholders to lead the implementation and delivery of the NCS contract within our 5 London Lots in line with the expectations of the NCS Trust.

Managing a small team, you will communicate effectively with all stakeholders to gain a full understanding of implementation barriers, ensuring resourcing, compliance, budgetary and operational requirements and processes are in place.  You will be proactive in identifying and resolving situations and be involved in the day-to-day requirements of the contract as well as liaising with all other functions within Twin to ensure the programme is effectively delivered.

The Senior Programme Manager will set the groundwork for the expansion of this small scale contract in the future and to take the responsibility for developing both themselves and others to enable this.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help lead a small team to deliver the requirements for the NCS Contract in an effective manner.
  • Ensure all Access, EOI Payments, Sign-up and Turn-up targets are achieved
  • Compile and Complete all MI Reports
  • Attend regular meetings with the Trust
  • Ensure the team are fully up to date with best practice to ensure safeguarding, incident management and inclusion polices are adhered to.
  • Ensure systems and processes are in place and comply with the requirements of the contract and submit to the Regional Director for approval.
  • Ensure the team have clear instruction; monitor performance and coach/performance manage as necessary.
  • Liaise with Central Services on programme logistics including accommodation, sales and marketing etc.,
  • Support HR and Q&C to ensure that all H&S, Compliance and ER matters are identified and actioned appropriately
  • Manage the delivery plan to completion, ensuring full accountability for all strands and timescales
  • Ensure that the budget constraints are adhered to seeking approval from the Regional Director for any unplanned and unforeseen expenditure
  • Ensure the out of hours’ roster is in place and allocated in a fair manner for all staff.
  • Ensure regular meetings to review performance and provide feedback where necessary.
  • Assist in the running of Summer/Autumn programmes based on work load and requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

  • Educated to A level or equivalent
  • Experience of working on the implementation and delivery of small scale projects

 

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Strong operational and management background and experience, preferably within youth provisions and local communities
  • Safeguarding experience
  • Proven track record of achieving targets
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience of working on contracts and programmes
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage difficult situations
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Previous experience in managing NCS Programme
