Twin Group works within the University Placements team to support, develop, and prepare Masters and Bachelors students for their one-year industrial placement with cutting-edge employability skills, and provide bespoke services in generating future employment opportunities for them.
JOB TITLE: Careers Advisor
SALARY: £27000
LOCATION: London - Southwark
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Career Adviser you will be reporting to the Project Manager / Technical Manager for University Placements and work alongside the university placement teams in meeting their objectives in a timely and compliant manner. In addition to delivering an excellent service to students, you will be responsible for engagements with relevant stakeholders for generating placement opportunities for the students.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the student engagement team to provide a continuously improving programme which delivers the best possible results to students
- To oversee and conduct all individual and group sessions to improve employability prospects for students
- To manage the student engagement team in order to ensure consistency across all activities and contracts
- Develop relationships with employers and organisations to generate prospective placement leads and advocate for students' work permissions
- Keep records of interactions with students, both in excel and MS Lists and on the recruitment CRM
- Share information and communicate with students across a range of platforms, including MS Teams and Moodle
- Collect regular feedback from students, and address any issues in order to maintain high levels of student satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Employer Engagement Officers to contribute to marketing materials and strategic development as necessary
- To liaise with university staff to ensure that Twin activities are aligned with university policies and processes and to share best practice
- To develop student-facing materials and resources that will help students throughout their job search
- To train new staff and provide ongoing student engagement training for the wider team
- To adapt and tailor programme activities to meet the needs of new contracts as necessary
Education/Qualification
- Degree or equivalent preferable
- A qualification in Career Information or Guidance is desirable
- A qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance or equivalent experience
